Foot Moxibustion Box

Pre-use Inspection:
Before use, carefully inspect the box to ensure it is intact. Ensure the bamboo shell is free of cracks or deformation, the internal wire mesh (to prevent moxa ash) is not damaged or loose, the clips securing the moxa stick securely in place, and the elastic band is intact. This will prevent burns or ash from falling out during use due to damage to the device.

Skin Protection:
For first-time users or those with sensitive skin, it is recommended to place a thin cotton cloth (such as a moxibustion protective cloth) under the moxibustion area to avoid direct contact with the bottom of the box to prevent burns from high temperatures. If you experience any burning or stinging during moxibustion, immediately adjust the position of the box or suspend use. Do not endure it to avoid skin damage.

Combustion and Ventilation Control:
During moxibustion, ensure the ventilation holes in the bottom box are unobstructed to prevent blockage that could affect the combustion of the moxa stick (incomplete combustion may produce thick smoke or cause the flame to stall). Avoid strong winds to prevent flames from escaping or the moxa stick from burning too quickly. If you need to adjust the temperature, you can do so by slightly opening or closing the top cover or covering some of the ventilation holes. Do not completely close the ventilation holes (which may cause the moxa stick to go out or produce carbon monoxide).
